Notepad
No, I'm not talking about the Windows text editor (which indicently, if you use it you should check out Notepad 2 that Duncan recommended a few months back). I'm talking about a little pocketbook. I've started carrying one with me, when I remember, to note down ideas or tid-bits that I want to later explore.
So far I'm taking notes on things that piss me off, and things that I think are wicked. These will result in one-line 'blog posts. Expect one soon.
What like paper? I thought you of all people would have a palm pilot or iPaq.
A few years ago there was great predictions for the PDA, now it seems there is not much development going on. I think that it is a case of phones being able to display pictures, addresses and appointments, making PDAs almost redundant.
I look forward to your musings and insights.
Next Lambie will get a pocket-protector, then suspenders, and then his transformation into Darth Nerd will be complete ;)
Jack’s right about phones replacing PDAs. My Motorola A1000 covers most of the basic PDA functions. It’s not quite as feature packed as some of the other offerings either currently on the market (most of the i-mates) or about to be released (Motorola MPx), but it does the job.
nice work on the notepad2, im a notepad slut but this is fantastic
